Daniel Robert McClure is an assistant professor of United States history at Fort Hays State University. His scholarship explores the history of conservatism, capitalism, popular media and African American history. McClure’s forthcoming book, "Winter in America: A Cultural History of Neoliberalism, from the Sixties to the Reagan Revolution," will be published in 2021 by the University of North Carolina Press.
