Kevin Boatright values the fine and performing arts. His career included six years in corporate and foundation communications, plus 35 years in news and public affairs at the University of Northern Iowa, in the University of Wisconsin System, and at the University of Kansas. Kevin lives in Lawrence, where he retired from KU in 2016. He enjoys volunteering as a docent at the Spencer Museum of Art and serving on the Friends Council of the Hall Center for the Humanities. He is also a member of the governing board of his undergraduate alma mater, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and has Topeka-born grandchildren who love to sing, draw, dance and create.
