Linda Bass, PhD, LCMFT, is president of KVC Kansas, a nonprofit of 450 professionals who strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, and help people achieve mental health wellness. KVC Kansas’s services include in-home family strengthening, foster care case management, kinship and foster family support, adoption, and outpatient children’s mental health treatment. She is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist with expertise in trauma treatment and 20 years’ experience in how to safely reduce the need for foster care. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree from San Diego State University and doctoral degree from Loma Linda University.
